You've heard of reality TV
right? Well...this is reality film.
The cameras follow a filmmaker through the process of making THIS movie as
that process ultimately becomes the movie.
I
Am DB will show a transition from the very low end, no budget, DV,
amateur look to a polished, high quality, HD and then 35mm film with the
typical Hollywood look and feel of a large scale production with a sizeable
budget; a real-time account of the budget at the time of the making of the
film. It will also show the journey of
the director to the number one spot on the IMDb Pro
StarMeter from
an unknown celebrity state. Currently in production in Indianapolis,
California and New York and wherever else the journey demands. |

interviewed me for an
article in this
weekly publication. If you're local to Indianapolis,
pick up your copy at many local businesses and grocery
stores. Michelle Pemberton came to the studio

Real After Hours With Ernie & Angela on
WENS 97.1 invited the I Am DB crew to the
station to talk about the film. Ernie & Angela
were great and the crew and I had a good time during
our visit. |

I Am DB was highlighted on an England-based web show
called Inside-Report. This international program
highlights indie filmmakers as well as provide a more
in-depth look at the microcinema scene. Sky and
the other folks at Inside-Report did a great job of
putting together this spot. Inside-Report will
have updates on the progress of I Am DB on future
shows.

I have
finished the trailer to the Phase 1 portion of this
movie. It really turned out well considering the
quality that we were dealing with in this section of
the movie. I will be uploading it to the site by
early next week. |

JANUARY 27, 2004 - Tuesday |

|
|
We made an appearance on "Cold
Pizza" (ESPN2) this morning and had a
great time. I was not able to talk of this film
but it was still great to do the skit and meet with
some very cool people from the ESPN2 crew. They
invited us to "please stop back anytime." I am
currently seeking clearance of that clip for inclusion
into this movie. I hope to have a clip that you
can view up on this site by next week.
